PassiveCheck provides web-based text analysis, readability diagnostics, sentence simplification, and writing tools. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended to assist users in identifying passive voice structures and improving overall prose clarity. We do not guarantee that the suggestions provided will meet any specific professional, educational, or publisher standards.

2. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding user-submitted text) are and will remain the exclusive property of PassiveCheck Suite. You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights in the text you submit to the Service. PassiveCheck does not claim ownership over any of your content.

3. User Input & Content License

When you enter, upload, or submit text to PassiveCheck, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to process, analyze, and format your text solely for the purpose of providing the analysis and suggestions to you. We do not store, publish, share, or sell your input text. All text analyzed is processed in-memory or on-client and discarded immediately after your session or request is complete.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• To submit content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on third-party intellectual property.
• To transmit any viruses, trojan horses, or other malicious software.
• To attempt unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service or the server on which it is stored.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

PassiveCheck is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service, the accuracy of the syntactic analysis, or the suitability of the tool for your needs. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PassiveCheck, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any content or suggestions obtained from the Service; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PassiveCheck operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
